Overview
Heat exchangers are used for a variety of different processes – heating, cooling, condensing, evaporating, recirculating, and heat recovery. When you mention a heat exchanger, many people think only of a shell and tube type exchanger. However, there are several heat exchanger technologies, in addition to the old reliable shell and tube exchanger. This course will cover the wide variety of heat exchangers that are commercially available and the types of processes where each is typically used.
The course author, who has over 40 years of experience designing heat exchangers for process applications, provides a wealth of information and “been there, done that” experience.
