Reliability Engineering and Asset Maintenance Management” is a 2-day short course that covers basic concepts, methods, and tools for reliability engineering and asset maintenance management for engineering systems. The tools to be covered can be used to analyze the reliability of a component based on available data, evaluate system reliability, optimize reliability-based design, develop optimal maintenance programs using time-based or condition-based maintenance strategies, and determine the inventory management policies.
Objective
The participants will gain comprehensive knowledge of basic concepts, methods and tools in the area of reliability engineering and maintenance management. They will learn the topics of reliability concepts, component reliability analysis, system reliability analysis and design, time-based and condition-based maintenance policies, inventory management, and various techniques and tools. The participants will also learn these topics through multiple examples and case studies, and learn related software tools.
